UDOM EMMANUEL RETURNS TO UYO FOR AKWA IBOM BLUEPRINT DIALOGUE - Lejit Reporters
Immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel has arrived Uyo the State capital. nearly two months after ending his tenure in office as Governor.
Mr Emmanuel was received at the Airport by Governor Umo Eno, who led a delegation of top government officials to welcome him.
He is visiting the State as Special Guest of Honour at the Akwa Ibom Dialogue and Launch of the ARISE Agenda of the current administration of Pastor Umo Eno.
The former Governor is expected to declare open the event, holding at the Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort from Monday 24, through Thursday, July 27.
Also known as the champion of peace, infrastructural expansion and industrialization, Mr Emmanuel’s visit to the state has rekindled nostalgic memories of his fight to restore peace and bring about massive roads networks and industries in the once celebrated civil service State.
