The Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu on Monday was denied admittance to his office at the Public authority House in Benin, the state capital.

Naija News discovered that Shaibu showed up at the Public authority House on Monday however met the entryway prompting his office safely secured.

Shaibu claims that he has not received a formal letter from the governor's office regarding the relocation of his office.

He further expressed that the legitimate channel to send a mandate relating to the movement to another office is the Lead representative's office.

Shaibu while on a call to a yet-to-be-distinguished individual expressed, "Up till now, I have no authority correspondence that I ought to move. My employees are the only ones with official communication. The government employees have official correspondence yet I don't. As I'm addressing you now, I'm remaining by the door."

Channels reports that the Head of Service's office, Anthony Okungbowa, sent a letter to the Permanent Secretary of the Deputy Governor's Office last week instructing Shuaibu to move to a new location at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, GRA, Benin City.

However, Shaibu-related sources asserted that the new office has been abandoned and requires urgent renovation.

The improvement is the most recent in the tussle between Lead representative Obaseki and his delegate.

While there have been hypotheses about plans to impugn Shaibu, the Edo Gathering has denied such.
